Valerie Fong 方詩揚 was the winner of Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant 2014 / 2014 多倫多華裔小姐競選. I think she stands a good chance in Miss Chinese International Pageant 2015. During Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant 2014, my two top favorites were No 10 Valerie Fong 方詩揚 and 2 Lena Li 李含. Between them I seriously like Lena Li 李含 more. She is very elegant. She is 5’3” with hourglass body 31, 22, 32.

During the pageant, Valerie Fong got Miss Photogenic and Most Charming Award. When announcing the top 3, I hope both Valerie Fong and Lena Li gets into top 3 placements. The host said the 2nd runner up has small number, and I hope it is the gorgeous Lena Li who was No 2, but it was No. 3 Tina Li 李曉恬. Tina was surprise herself. I was hoping that Lena Li still stands a chance, but the host said the 1st runner up has medium number, which is No. 6 Meiyi Ding 丁眉伊. Then, the host said the winner has double digit, which is only No. 10 Valerie Fong 方詩揚.

I feel happy and sad. Happy because Valerie Fong won the well deserving championship and sad because Lena Li didn’t get into top 3. Between Valerie Fong and Lena Li, I would have chosen Lena Li.

2014 Miss New York Chinese Pageant has two favorites from the beginning. Catherine Hui 惠櫸喬 and Lili Wat 屈麗麗. During top 5 announcement, they announce according to this sequence - 06 Sitong Chen, 02 Lili Wat, 11 Catherine Hui, 09 Danielle Yu and 14 Wei Wang. When they announce Wei Wang as the 2nd runner up, it is clear that its going to be between Catherine Hui 惠櫸喬 and Lili Wat 屈麗麗. Lili Wat 屈麗麗 was announced as the 1st runner up, and naturally, Catherine Hui 惠櫸喬 becomes the winner. Lili Wat 屈麗麗. Lili Wat 屈麗麗 definitively qualify to represent New York.

The winner of Miss Sydney Chinese Pageant 2014 (2014澳洲華裔小姐(悉尼)總決賽) is Serena Shen 沈蘊初. During this pageant, Serena Shen 沈蘊初 was the winner and Mandy Chai 蔡美霆 was the 1st runner up. The contestant to represent Sydney is rightfully to be Serena Shen 沈蘊初. But, in Australia, there have this new Grand Miss Australia Chinese Pageant which makes Mandy Chai 蔡美霆 the representative.

During 2014 温哥华华裔小姐竞选 Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant 2014, the initial top picks were #3 Erica Chen, #9 Maggie Wu, #2 Zoe Gu and #10 Kiki Zou 鄒楚琪. Everybody seems to get something except Kiki Zou 鄒楚琪. When Kiki Zou 鄒楚琪 was chosen as the lucky contestant for trying the crown, her appearance was perfect. You get the feeling that she is the perfect Miss Chinese Vancouver! Its like the crown is made for her. She is elegant, flawless, speaks well, has great eyes with perfect face features and has great body shape. It is just disappointing that she didn’t get into top 3.
