This is the first time where contestants that are just not strong enough are not placed into top 10 category.
The Top 3 ChallengerBased on the program so far, the top spot challenger would be between Fancy 吴胤婷 (age 24），Zhiny黄之豫（age 24），and Elise 陈玢奾（age 22). Initial favorites seems to be between Fancy and Zhiny. Fancy and Zhiny seems to have the height factor.
Fancy 吴胤婷. Other than height factor Fancy 吴胤婷 is very easy on eyes and she seems very composed and calm in any kind of angel. Her speaking skills is acceptable. It would be hard to imagine her not getting at least a top 5 spot.
Zhiny 黄之豫 has the height, and seems to be pretty good in everything except I think sometimes there is a lack of excitement in her. Somehow just not interesting enough. She will do well in talent show since Astro love these kind of stuff. I’m not much a fan for talent show because it really means nothing much to me. If you learn piano since age 3 and play them on this show, it only means you know how to play piano. I think she lack some public communication skills.

Elise 陈玢奾! Wow! That’s how I would describe Elise. She’s not the super tall type like Fancy, Zhiny and Angelica, but she’s tall enough. It has been proven time and time again super tall does not count in Miss Chinese International Pageant. Elise generates a vibrant feel especially during her catwalk. She’s young, only at 22, has sweet smiles and has strong confidence. Elise is the kind of contestant that you grow to like her more and more every time you sees her.

The Top 5 ChallengerThese group of contestants are really good too. They are Lisha 何丽莎 （age 21），
Angelica 叶小庆 （age 25），and Roselind 颜慧芬 （age 24). Getting into top 5 for them should not be too much of a challenge especially for Roselind and Angelica. Angelica seems to be an experience contestant. Moving up to top 3 would be a real challenge considering the Fancy, Zhiny and Elise are extremely strong contestant. If anyone of them are to be moving up the ladder, I think Roselind would be a good choice. She’s very good in front of camera. Who could have make way and drop out of top 3? Elise? No way! She is everything a pageant organizer ever wanted. Fancy? Tough. This lady has unique style. It has got to be Zhiny. Although I really like Zhiny but still Elise and Fancy are just super fantastic.

Other than the obvious favorites, the rest of the contestants are really good too. Like Elie 黄美莲 （age 22） and Erica 陈秋萍 （age 22). I would not be surprise if they advance into top 5. Carol 王钶媃 （age 23） as Astro puts it has some speaking skills so that might pull some points. Charlotte 陈美婷 （age 20） in my opinion has some chances too.
I think Astro did a great job in selecting the top 10 this year as most of them are contestants that you don’t want to see them lose. This make it more interesting to watch.
What’s my prediction? Well, given a choice I would love to have
Fancy, Zhiny and Elise to be the winner of Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2013 and go kick some butt in Miss Chinese International 2014, but...

| Zhiny 黄之豫 |
Zhiny 黄之豫 is a very safe contestant. She’s tall, has some elegant look and capable in those talent segment. She can easily make it into top 10 in Miss Chinese International, but there will be many similar contestants in Miss Chinese International.

| Fancy 吴胤婷 |
Fancy 吴胤婷 would be the best contestant to gain advantage at first sight. Really, you would not miss Fancy when she is standing among other contestants. She has that classy style that makes you like her.

| Elise 陈玢奾 |
Elise 陈玢奾! Again wow! That’s how I would describe Elise again. I grow to like her more and more since the beginning of the show. She has very proportionate figure, pose and catwalk with style and energy. There is this vibrant, confident, young and energetic feel from her. Elise is really something different. She has very good chance of making Malaysia proud in Miss Chinese International 2014. I can even imagine her doing TVB shows on TV.
