Lai Yin San 黎燕珊 in Burning Sensation (Huo Zhu Gui) 火燭鬼 (1989)
Eva Lai Yin San first won Miss Asia in 1985. Then, Lai Yin San was 4th winner of the Miss Asia Pacific (first) held by ATV in Hong Kong. Many countries present and Lai Yin San got the 4th place. Many people was not satisfied with the result because Lai Yin San was clearly the most beautiful, most pretty, most sexy, most beautiful body, most fashionable, most talented among all contestant. When she appears, you can see and hear her fans all over. She should have been No. 1.
As a beauty, she starred in many ATV series, mainly as beauty role. This is when ATV began to take a turn with valuable top notch actress. She took a role as “Sai See”, known as the most beautiful woman in ancient Chinese history. In the series, other woman admire her to the extend that even when she was having heart pain, her action makes even a woman heart melts.
One of her best movie was "Burning Sensation" with Kenny Bee and Dodo Cheng. She acted as a beautiful but cruel ghost who wanted to take revenge but being hurt by Dodo Cheng many times. Nice beautiful lady. Wonder what she is doing right now. I heard she's doing well in Taiwan.
Wu Ma produced this movie in the mid 80s when Miss Lai Yin San first got her Miss Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. Other artistes include Dodo Cheng Yue Ling and Kenny Bee. The whole movie centres on Lai Yin San and in fact the movie poster had Lai Yin San lay down on the ground beautifully wearing black. It makes me mad when some movie reviews had her name third on the cast list, and some even miss her out!
Getting World’s Attention
The movie started at night when a cab driver was listening to some ghost story on radio and decided to end his work for the night. Suddenly, he saw a very beautiful lady on the street (near a cemetery), long curly hair, wearing a silky blue dress with black high heels. Can you imagine this? She was of course Miss Lai Yin San. She was absolutely gorgeous! He offered her a ride (who wouldn’t). She got into the cab, and the camera quickly zoomed onto her beautiful pair of legs.
When the driver asked her where she wants to go, she replied, "As you like". He said, "If I say we go to Kowloon (a place where people have sex) would you?" She replied "Why not?" The guy was so happy, so high thinking that he had just struck a jackpot in life. Then she started rubbing her chest and said she was in pain. He felt her sweet tongue rolling around her neck. While she was doing this, the radio DJ (Wu Ma) said, her tongue is so sweet, even if “Tong Sam Jong”, who was the master of Journey to the West supposed to be immune to sex and evil could not resist her. When she's 100% sure he's seduced, she quickly pulls out her long tongue and killed him on the spot. Her sweet tongue is her ultimate killing weapon. What an awesome scene to introduce the most beautiful, sexy but dangerous woman.
Later, 3 guys in a bar chatting about girls and one of the guy (Wu Ma) said he predicted a beautiful girl will appear with lighting. All the friends laughed at him. Then, Lai Yin San, walked into the bar and all the light suddenly sparks welcoming a beauty entering the area. All guys were eyeing on her.
She sat down at the bar table and let down her scarf. The fat guy’s couldn’t believe what he just saw. She then pushed her curly hair. Wu Ma told him, to get this babe; he got to get one of her hair. Without hesitating he went to her. He talked to her, but she just drinks her wine and pretending there is no one there. He wanted to talk to her with excuse that she has dropped some money. She replied, “It’s not mine.” He thinks money would lure Yin San. When he bends down to collect the money, he almost got heart attack when he saw Lai Yin San’s pair of beautiful legs. He said, "You have beautiful hair". She replied, "Everybody said that!" He said “I would like to...” She replied “No!” He said “I mean...” She said “No meaning!” Yin San was really to cool.
The guy feeling disappointed and while leaving he tried his last attempt. While she was drinking, this guy pulled one piece of her hair because his friend told him that with her hair, he could make them become lovers. I was very angry here. How can he pull her hair just like that? Yin San did not feel any pain, as she is a ghost, but she was alert enough to notice that.
Wu Ma took the hair and shows the guy how to do it. He sucked her hair several times. (In real life, I bet Wu Ma did not really get the chance to lick Yin San’s hair. It would have been sweet.) Yin San knew their plan, so she acted seductively as if their plan really works. That guy rushed to lick her hair but it was too late. Yin San came to their table and posed in a sexy manner. She invited Wu Ma to have a drink else where. Wu Ma swiftly finished his drink and usher Yin San out of the bar. The fat guy was mad as his the luckiest day of his life has just slipped away. The fat guy then tried the same trick with an ordinary waitress and got slapped on the face.
The guy was drunk so, Yin San with one hand grab him to his apartment with the intention to kill him. When they went into the apartment, she uses her tongue to lick the guy (fake tongue of course) and was about to kill him. Then another guy came out from the room (Kenny Bee). Very quickly, Yin San tried to pull away, but the drunken guy grabbed her tongue. She struggled to get back her tongue and she turns back and saw Kenny Bee.
Fireman on Fire
After that, Yin San saw Kenny and was engrossed to him. (This is the unrealistic part. Kenny should fell for Yin San and not otherwise.) Anyway, Yin San quickly show her beauties and seductive looks by showing some seductive facial expression. Yin San was so amazed to see Kenny. (I truthfully can’t figure out why she likes him!”) Kenny carried Wu Ma to his room and Yin San looked at him and said, “You really look very handsome”. (I really can’t sand this. All the while people will praise Yin San just about anything. Now Yin San is made-up to praise such an ordinary man. She must have vomited a few times to speak these words). Yin San dimmed the light when Kenny went into Wu Ma’s room.
When Kenny came out of the room, Yin San sat seductively in a couch and said “Hello!” Kenny said a phrase like “I’m not a casual sex person”. (God damn it! Even the impotent will recover with such intensive blood pressure). Then the camera zoomed to the breast of Yin San with a silver lizard stacked on it (mouth-watering!).
She said “I like man with well body built! Can I hug you?” She approached Kenny and said he is making her arose. She even said “Please hug me”. She's so confidence that Kenny was dreaming about her, she said, "Lets stop fantasizing about me and start doing - let’s be practical!" Now her face practically right in front of Kenny. She showed very sexy, full of expression face. Kenny rejected and said, "You must be a prostitute!" She was stunned. She could never believe that someone will say that to her. Who can resist Yin San? Where on earth can you find such a perfect prostitute? Then, she pretends to have a headache and started to faint and was about to fall down and asked Kenny to hold her. Guess what, he did not hold her. Yin San was again shocked, and then she bounced back and led right in front of Kenny. Kenny feels hot, then…
The Battle between Pretty Ghost and Ugly Ghost
This stupid Dodo Cheng (who is also a ghost) came into the house and disguised as Yin San’s younger sister. This is another ridiculous part; Yin San is at least 15 years younger than Dodo Cheng! Yin San warned Dodo not to interfere her plans. Dodo insists. Yin San remained cooled and confidence. Yin San in a proud way sat on a sofa and get ready to fight. Yin San asked Kenny to make some noodles and began to attack Dodo by using a piece of cloth to pull her leg. Dodo pulled back and causes Yin San to fall over a sofa. She feels painful. Yin San attacked again and again get counter attack and hurt again until Yin San was thrown to the dining table.
Then, Kenny came out and they started to have their supper. Yin San again tried to use her killing tongue to kill Kenny by using it under the dining table. Dodo stepped on her tongue and then put hot chilli source on her tongue. Yin San felt hurt and very painful on her tongue. What a stupid bitch, how can she treat Yin San like this?
Yin San got really angry. When Kenny was going into the kitchen, Yin San use her tongue again. This time, Dodo quickly slammed her tongue by slamming the kitchen door to her tongue. Very painful!!! Again, Yin San use her tongue again and this time her tongue and Dodo tricked her and caused her tongue to dip into a 100 degree boiling water. Very very painful. Yin San pulled and her tongue is all boiled. Yin San promise to return for revenge. I think, the movie director should show all other ghost in the world to be on Yin San's side because she's the prettiest acting ghost I have ever seen.
Pretty Ghost Got a Shock of her Life
Kenny's brother was pissing in the toilet where Yin San suddenly appeared. This guy was shocked to see her in the guy's toilet and cause his cigarettes to burn his dick. Can you see how powerful this beautiful girl is? Yin San told the guy that ghost was seducing his brother (Kenny). At first, he did not believe her but after few persuasion, he finally believed her but he said "No, I don't believe in you but I believe in myself". Yin San was pissed.
When they were about to go, this guy turned around to get something. Yin San with a curious and impatient look try to figure what he was trying to do. This guy pulled out a Chinese Ghost Weapon and shows her. Yin San was scared, quickly shouted and terrified because she's also a ghost. You can see her looks when she was trying were scared, anxious, afraid, and seductive and try to remain clam and cool. Yin San is a real hot babe.
When they went back to the house, Kenny was trying to tell his brother to hit Yin San cause she's a ghost. However, he obeyed Yin San instruction and hit Kenny.
Later, Kenny was locked in a room with Yin San. Yin San tried to kill him many times but was hit by the Chinese ghost weapon. There were many times she was scared, hurt and even push to the limit. What kind of a guy is this?
Dodo Cheng, the other ghost appeared and cast her great deal of suffering from accidentally biting a sword, to the whole body being electrified. Later Yin San came back for revenge with full power. This Dodo appeared again and fought with her. 3 Guys and ugly ghost with a beautiful ghost. Yin San's palm was cut and later using the sun power to destroy her to nothing. You can see her looks when she was dying. She really couldn't believe it.
I can never understand this. When human faced with ghost, of course they'll help and beautiful one. But, in this case all seems to be different. I guess the movie director was trying to stimulate audience interest by showing Yin San's suffering.
