Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2013 Boring Results!

So this is the result of Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2013 / Astro國際華裔小姐競選 2013

The pageant started with a short Q&A and the host gave them their results based on MY FM people. Here’s the score. There is no surprise that Carol got the highest point as she’s a good communicator. This is a good indicator of who the top 5 would be.

Then, there is the swimsuit segment. Unfortunately they decide to use the extra piece of cloth which makes the catwalk looks clumsy.

Miss Beautiful Body and Miss Photogenic goes to Zhiny.

Then the talent segment. There are some fun.

Miss Talent goes to Carol and Miss Friendly goes to Charlotte.

Finally, the top 5 announcement.

The first and second person announced goes to Zhiny and Fancy. That’s expected. The third person, the judge says this contestant has not receive any award, its Angelica. Not bad. The forth person, the host said Ann Lee commented on her. I’m getting nervous already. Its Erica. Then, the last person is Carol! What the hell? What happen to Elise??? Elise is supposed to be a top 3 material! I wanted to scream. This is unbelievable! 

Then this is the final announcement. 5th goes to Angelica, 4th to Carol, 3rd to Erica. Between Zhiny and Fancy, Zhiny was chosen as the winner.

I have no problem between Fancy and Zhiny, although I think Fancy is way more interesting. Fancy will be a unique contestant in Miss Chinese International. Zhiny will be a safe contestant. As usual, Astro prefer the so called winner look type. They also loves great talker. Come on! Want to hire a DJ or a host, go advertise in recruitment ad. This is a beauty pageant.

It is truly sad and unbelievable that Elise can’t make it into top 5. Astro should start letting us know the points each contestants get in each of the segment. All the pageants in the world are doing that now. It needs to be more transparent.

And the best part is a questions was posted to Carol, if she gets RM100 million, would she give up the title of Miss Astro? She said no and give reasons including money can’t buy everything, blah, blah, blah. Hello! Its RM100 million. I don’t think she knows how many zero is that. Its 100,000,000. That means if condominiums cost RM500,000 you get to buy 200 condominiums by cash! No loans! I know the Astro people will say its not what she answers but how she answers. Is there any intelligence in this? If somebody tells me they don’t want RM100 million, they better give me a damn good answer and not some money can’t buy everything stuff. I would have respect her more if she say she’ll take the money, after all its RM100 million or if she says put the money in front of me then I’ll decide otherwise I’ll go for Miss Astro. That is a thinking contestant. Just talk, talk, talk is not going to be good enough. In International Pageant, people will laugh.
