After watching the top 5 predictions by the contestants themselves in Astro國際華裔小姐競選 2013 Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2013, I get even more excited about the pageant. By having the contestants predicting the top 5 shows their level of confidence and how they rate themselves and others in relation to all the contestants.
Out of the 10 finalist, 5 of them (Erica, Roselind, Zhiny, Charlotte, Lisha) predicts they’re going to be 2nd runner up. Carol predicts she’s not going to be in top 5. Only Angelica, Elie, Elise, and Fancy predicts themselves as winner.
Surprisingly, nobody think they’ll be 1st runner up. All 5 contestants who predict themselves as 2nd runner up think either Fancy or Zhiny will be the eventual winner.
Fancy’ Prediction
Fancy’s going for the crown. She knows it and everybody expects it. The only thing is, her strong contender might not be Zhiny.

Elise’s Prediction
Elise is going for the crown too. After the swimsuit photo from Astro, her number of likes far exceeds Fancy and Zhiny. Only Elise and Angelica think Zhiny is over-rated, placing her into 4th place. I think Elise has a very strong chance to be in the top 3 and even be the winner of Miss Astro 2013.

Angelica says she’s going for the crown. She knows Fancy has more than one spot advantage over Zhiny. She never underestimates Elise.

Erica’s prediction is pretty honest in my opinion. She’s going after the top 3 spot knowing well the 1st and 2nd position is the battle between Zhiny and Fancy.

Zhiny needs more confidence or she is simply being too humble. Fancy will be her great challenger but Lisha is a bit overrated.

Charlotte’s prediction of the top 2 spots is reasonable. The fact that she place Elise in the top 5 shows she knows who some of the real challengers are. However, placing herself above of Lisha and Elise is not very realistic.

Roselind’s Prediction
Roselind’s prediction resembles Charlotte. They both know Zhiny and Fancy are probably running for the top 2 post. Roselind and Charlotte are both going for 3rd place. The only difference is Roselind didn’t include Charlotte into top 5 and vice versa.
