Kate Walsh in Stephane Rolland Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2014

Actress Kate Walsh wore a bright mustard yellow (bright colors was a big trend at the 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards red carpet) gown from Parisian designer Stephane Rolland and his 2014 Spring/Summer Haute Couture collection. This was one of my favorite gown from this collection and therefore it was a treat to see it being worn on a major red carpet. The silk crepe gown features a high neck, drop shoulder cap "sleeves", an architectural peplum detail that cascades from front to back...

Sequined Gorgeous: The peplum cascade lining (and sides of the column skirt) are completely hand-beaded with thousands of paillettes and sequins. This gown is a work of art and took hundreds--if not thousands--of hours to create. After all it's Haute Couture. If I had any issue with Kate and the look, it was the styling; I wasn't a fan of her hair and I definitely don't think she needed the necklace. It should have been left just like it was shown on the runway:

Sans the necklace...Better. What do you guys think?
